I would not recommend these attorneys. They seemed friendly at first, but their attitude changed quickly once things didn’t go their way. Although I did receive a settlement, they tried to lowball me and got upset when I chose not to keep my son’s money in their recommended bank account. I’m honestly surprised their ratings are so high. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t trust them again or refer anyone else to them.

On July 2nd, the Secretary from Sklare Law Group LTD contacted me she will send me my check from the case, she also issued a tracking number so I could track the check. I’ve been trying to track it, but it showed the check was still in their possession and was never sent out, so I contacted them on the 8th, telling them I did not receive my check. I spoke with Selene Becerril she says she has no idea what happened to the check and said she has to speak with the mailman and the mailman said he has to speak to his supervisor and she promised me she will call me the next day. She never did. I called three times to the office and kept hearing “she is at a meeting”, and “she is not in the office”, I feel like she try to avoid me and I don’t know why. The simple solution to the problem is VOID the check and just send me a new one. Me as a client shouldn’t be frustrated and angry.

Was recommended from a friend and I would highly recommend them. Utilized them in a case when my father was killed in a motorcycle accident in Arizona. Wasn’t sure how it would be as I, like them are from Illinois but the process was seamless. They were very easy to work with and knowledgeable. Worked with me every step of the process while not telling me what to do or demanding what to do but informing me every step of the actions of what decisions I was making. Ok just when I thought I would never get to the bottom of an issue stemming from over a decade ago I was contacted by Mr Richard Sklare and respectively asked why I was leaving a negative review when he had not been given the opportunity to formally answer or execute any of my questions or requests. Hired this guy out of a phone book from a car accident I’d been in. Sent someone to my house within a half hour. Never meet him and a year goes by and I just so happend to be in court and served a paper and it’s a check. Never once talked to the guy. He handled or if you call it that and did everything on my behalf. Didn’t get what I was told from another firm either claim wise. Fast forward a decade and I’ve got unclaimed property Check this guys attached to a check for funds I didn’t get paid and I send his office the paperwork to sign so now after 2 months of waiting I get told from the property place he never even had it notarized. FOR 2 WEEKS IVE BEEN CALLING HIS OFFICE 3 OR MORE TIMES A DAY TO BE TOLD TO CALL BACK OR RUDELY TOLD “ID ADVISE YOU TO CALL BEFORE NOON” ?? DONT LAWYERS HAVE COURT IN THE MORNING???LOL ANYWAY…HE DONT CARE… I WOULDNT HAVE SAID ANYTHING BUT IM STUCK WITH THIS GUY ATTACHED TO MY PAPERWORK NOW AND MY HANDS ARE TIED AND I CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT EXCEPT KEEP TRYING CANT EVEN ANSWER AN EMAIL IN A TIMELY FASHION

When unfortunately got in to a case that needed professional experience, I was informed to contact this firm and developed an agreement for Sklare Law Firm to take charge and control the situation. When I was attacked inside a major retail store, while traveling, I had no idea what to do. I felt stupid for not contacting the police or at least the store management, prior to leaving the store. When my injuries worsened after returning home, I was afraid no one would help me. Several firms I contacted were rude and refused to even listen to my story, however Attorney Sklare, called me, listened to everything and told me he would help me. I have had the great pleasure of speaking with multiple people within his organization, and all of them have gone above and beyond for me. I have never been involved in a lawsuit before and I hope to never be again, but I can’t imagine what it would have been like without the determination, compassion, concern and professionalism embodied by everyone I have encountered within this firm. I am so grateful that my case was handled by them. I truly did not expect a settlement to be reached in 20 months, but I am so grateful that it was. We retained Attorney Richard Sklare for my mother, who was injured in a car accident in which her vehicle was totalled. He came highly recommended to us by another family member who had retained him when he was also injured in a car accident. Mr. Sklare and his staff were absolutely wonderful to work with. They were very helpful and reassuring whenever she had any questions or concerns regarding her claim. They were so good at constantly keeping us informed as to the status of her case. They also truly seemed to care about how she was doing and feeling after going through all the treatments for her injuries. If you are in need of an excellent, professional and caring personal injury attorney, look no further than to the Sklare Law Group.
0 out of 10 wouldn’t recommend. Took 7 years to get a settlement. I couldn’t get the attorney that handled my case to answer their phone or give me a call back. And even though it took them so long get a settlement they charged me crazy fees in comparison to my other attorney. I don’t like how I was treated or how my case was handled. * In response to your response* nothing about my review is strange. Everything I stated was truthful. FYI my case was settled and paid in Dec of 2023. Reviewing my experience with this firm has always been on my list of things to do, it took a while but I had a little time today. You did not stay in contact with me or gave me any update’s. My other Attorney Steve Crifase did. Not you! I have no reason to lie on you people. You all didn’t have any recent contact information and that’s why my check was mailed to an address from 7years ago. Good luck to whoever hires you to represent them.

Attorney Richard Sklare took over my auto accident case from another firm and thank goodness for small miracles. I was rear ended by a reckless driver and sustained back and neck injuries and several months of physical therapy and pain management. The representation from this law firm was beyond subpar. After two years of waiting, we lost our arbitration hearing. Not only did the lawyer who was working our case go on vacation during this time with no notice but left our case to someone who was not only late but flustered during the hearing as he stumbled over his words to make his points. Throughout the process, communication was extremely poor with minimal return phone calls. There were so many people working on our case that we never had consistent communication with any one person resulting in conflicting information or little to no information regarding the case. It did not ever seem like our case was a priority to the company and as a result, we are left with medical bills and the trauma from both experiences. EDIT: I misspoke regarding the racial aspect of this review and was led by emotions so for that I want to apologize. I appreciate Mr. Sklare for reaching out to have a hard conversation and listening for a resolve.

I am truly humbled and appreciative that Mr. Sklare was recommended to me. I was in pain from an accident, he saw that, showed empathy, he put me first, he got me into therapy right away close to my home and checked in with me throughout. I was able to focus on my recovery, not deal with insurance, gathering information, and making sure all reports were filled out correctly. He took care of that. My mother retained him for her workman’s compensation case. I’ve watched her lose everything waiting on this case to progress. Her workman’s compensation checks were not consistent and the company “Employers” would just stop her checks whenever they felt. She would go for months without payment. Currently now, she hasn’t received a payment. She has to constantly reach out to Kelly his secretary, which we do so by phone or email. She’s always telling my mother one thing then she back peddles. The last time, I guess he went to court to get the checks started again. This time nothing. I’m her daughter who’s trying to manage my mothers bills and rent, as well as my own with a disabled child, and I myself have a heart condition. She never gets Mr. Sklare himself to return her calls directly, just Kelly with a lot of misconstrued information. I have resent documents to them via email that they literally already had months ago. She was thankful, for him taking the case, so swiftly. However, at this point, she just wants her paperwork released to a more go-getter team and an attorney about their clients. Because waiting on consistency from this law firm will have you homeless and your cellphone cut off. Which has happened to her twice already. She hasn’t seen a check, in months, but her attorney doesn’t seem concerned because it’s not his livelihood. Name on the case is Frazier, before they get on here, lie and say they don’t have this client. Also, her Date of Birth and SSN# was incorrect on the Consent for Release Information Forms which is asking about Social Security benefits she doesn’t receive. She just doesn’t feel comfortable and she’s more stressed out than ever going months without any income, and no one fighting for her. Respectfully, A Disappointed Client

The Attorney and secretaries are all first class! When they give a date and time there is no deviation from the time line they have given their word is gold no fast talking no run around a just great results that far exceeds my expectations. They make sure your taken care of by great doctors then stand up for you to the insurance companies that low ball. TJ Parker and Richard Sklare are very respectful and I say that because I’m losing my mind and under a lot of pressure due to family issues. I raised my voice and started yelling at my attorney (Richard) and as a gentleman he didn’t rise his voice back and still tried explaining things to me so I would better understand. I give 5 starts for professionalism and for accepting my apology Lol. My case has been settled and I’m satisfied. Thanks Sklare!

Im not a client of yours but I definitely called in for help. Your lawyers informed me of some disturbing information and I was inclined to review my experience. Best believe my reviews are factual and indeed valid. Unlike you and your law firm that I spoke with, your statement on helping is a lie and very dishonest. You pass on my case because you knew the last lawyer firm I was working with. Like most racist people in this society they all stick together. They support racist law firms and will belittle you in the process when you ask them questions, be careful when calling for help! Now explain to your future clients about how you work with others and will be the best Representative for them. Even your response shows everyone how you react to something you don’t like. Just because you are a lawyer doesn’t mean you talk to someone in a degrading matter and unprofessionally. Please make sure you state everything that you said to me on the phone to give the people a clear view of your firm. The same way you fight against a review needs to be the same way you fight your cases. Majority of people who gave you a bad review were Minorities. We see the patterns!!!

Attorney Robert Leyshon and Richard Sklare has been great working with. I would highly recommend this firm for any injury case this is the best law firm to work with they meet all your needs and expectation and remind you I was transferred to them from a different law firm it took a minute to settle but when I say they did exactly what they where supposed to do thank you guys

My experience started with Lerner & Rowe. The case was transferred to Sklare Law group. The Sklare Group after a year was under impression that the accident was due to a stroke and not due to a TBI (Trama Brain Injury). One of the Sklare Brothers decided after a conversation with me, said he would go ahead with the case going forward. I kept my FAITH in that the Lord would win this case… and He did!!!!
